Each post starts with a question and answers it from the figures on this site. The numbers are read from the same datasets as the metric pages, so a post carries the source and the data period beside every figure and changes when the data does. The metric pages hold the full series, the comparisons and the tables; a post puts several of them beside each other to answer one question.

A post is written once and its numbers are not. When a publisher releases a new year, the puller for that dataset runs, the metric pages move, and the sentences here that quote those figures move with them, with the data period printed beside each. Where a sentence depends on two datasets with different latest years, the post says so rather than mixing them. Each post ends with the list of datasets it reads, linked to their catalog entries, which carry the publisher, the retrieval date and the caveats.
