Caveats
- value is headcount (a physical person, not full-time-equivalent), summed across Boise State University, Idaho State University, University of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State College, and the public community colleges (College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, North Idaho College, and College of Eastern Idaho once it opened).
- In fall 2012 the enrollment census date changed from the 10th day of the term to October 15; OSBE's own workbook flags 2012 with an asterisk for this reason but does not restate earlier years to the new date.
- Private and out-of-state institutions, and Idaho's professional-technical-only enrollment reported separately from academic headcount, are not included.
- An OSBE 'go-on rate' report (the share of Idaho high school graduates enrolling in postsecondary within a year) was searched for but not found as a downloadable, multi-year table: the dedicated boardofed.idaho.gov/resources/go-on-rates/ page now redirects to a generic postsecondary-programs page, a site search for 'go-on rate' returns no results, and the page's own linked attachment (Go-on-rates.pdf, recovered from the Wayback Machine since the live file now 404s) is a bar-chart image of 1-year go-on rates by race/ethnicity for 2011-2015 with no embedded data table or overall statewide figure. Two related research briefs (a 2015 gender-gap analysis and a 2016 cohort-graduation-rate analysis) are similarly chart-only and not current. education.go_on_rate is not pulled for this reason.
