Caveats
- The figure is total surface acreage across all endowment asset classes (farmland, commercial, timberland, rangeland and residential) for fiscal year 2025 (July 2024 to June 2025), the vintage the Idaho Department of Lands' FY25 land net income table uses; it is stored under period FY2025.
- This is surface acreage only. The same report also lists 3,413,671 mineral acres, a larger and separate figure because Idaho retains subsurface mineral rights on land whose surface has been sold; mineral acreage is not included here.
- The Idaho Department of Lands republishes this annual report under a new URL each year and the report itself carries no single dated publication line; the retrieved PDF's filename embeds December 24, 2025 and it was uploaded to idl.idaho.gov in March 2026.
